The exact route will be announced in 2026.
Aid Stations
- Aid stations with water will be located approximately every 2.5 kilometers, starting from the 5th kilometer. Additionally, every second station from the 10th kilometer onwards will also provide isotonic drinks and bananas.
- Each aid station is about 100 meters long. There’s no need to run straight to the first table – heading to the tables further down helps avoid crowding in the zone.
- Aid stations always begin and end with water tables.
Right after each aid station, on the same side of the course, there will be designated “drop zones” for disposing of cups. Please use these marked areas to throw away your waste.
Toilets
Toilets will be available near every aid station along the Marathon course.

In accordance with tax regulations, since the payment is made before the service is provided, a pro forma (advance) invoice will be issued for the full amount paid. This advance invoice also serves as the final invoice.
In order to receive a Pro-Forma invoice, it is necessary to send: invoice details, the number and list of participants (with registration numbers) together with information about the chosen race package option to the address [email protected].
Pro-Forma invoices are issued for at least two participants (it is not possible to receive a Pro-Forma for a single participant).
How to Get to the Start
The race starts on Świętokrzyska Street. On race day, participants may use public transport within Zone I free of charge by presenting their race bib.
We’ll share more details and tips about how to get to the start closer to the race date.
Race Organization
The race start is a crucial moment! Arrive early to avoid stress and follow the instructions of the event staff.
Start Zones
Assignment to a specific start zone is based on the finish time declared by the participant in the registration form.
Line up in your designated zone according to the marking on your race bib – the zones will be marked with flags along the start area.
- Editing your declared finish time is possible until August 16, 2026.
- Participants who pay the entry fee after August 16, 2026, are not guaranteed placement in the start zone corresponding to their declared finish time.
Start Schedule
The start will be organized in waves.
Clothing at the Start – Charity Initiative
All clothing left unattended in the start zone (on the ground, barriers, etc.) will be collected right after the start and donated to charity. Please do not leave on the street any clothes you intend to retrieve later – in that case, use the deposit service in the Runners’ Village.
So, if you usually wear an extra layer before the start to stay warm, we encourage you to choose clothing you won’t need afterwards.
Simply throw any unwanted clothing over the barriers – it will be collected by the foundation handling the donations.
Pacemakers
For the first time in Poland, we will provide such a wide range of pacemakers, so that every runner, regardless of experience level, can aim for their dream finish time!
Pacemaker is an experienced runner whose task is to maintain a steady pace throughout the entire race. The goal? To help other participants achieve a specific finish time.
Pacemakers time:
2:30, 2:35, 2:40, 2:45, 2:50, 2:55
3:00, 3:05, 3:10, 3:15, 3:20, 3:25, 3:30, 3:35, 3:40, 3:45, 3:50, 3:55

The general classification and all additional categories are based on net times (measured from crossing the start line). The exception is the first 200 finishers, who are classified by official gross times (measured from the starter’s gun). If the first 200 finishers do not include at least 10 men and 10 women, the number will be extended to include them.
All additional classifications (age groups, industry categories) are based on net times (measured from crossing the start line).

Key details about #IRUNWELL
#IRUNWELL is the largest program in Poland that combines helping others with participating in running events. How does it work?
When registering for the race, participants can choose one of two registration paths: the traditional route or the charity route – #IRUNWELL.
The charity registration option allows participants to receive a race bib in exchange for charitable activities. To take part in the #BiegamDobrze initiative, select the “charity registration” option in the race registration form and choose the charitable cause to which the funds will be donated.
You can choose from a range of available charities – this year there are 13! Descriptions of the organizations are available in the Runner’s Panel and on the initiative’s website.
Receiving a race bib in exchange for charitable contributions
Participants who raise at least PLN 550.00 in their fundraising account by August 16, 2026, will be assigned a race bib for the 48th Warsaw Marathon. The entry fee is covered by the supported charitable organization.
Fundraising campaigns for participants who have reached (or exceeded) the required amount will continue until October 10, 2026.
Fundraisers who have not reached the amount specified in point 4 must finish their collections by 16 August 2026.
The highest fundraisers will be rewarded
The organizer will reward one participant supporting each organization who, by September 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM, has raised the highest amount for that organization. This may be a participant of the 48th Warsaw Marathon or the Nice To Fit You Warsaw 10K.
The awards ceremony will take place on September 27, 2026, on the main stage of the 48th Warsaw Marathon.
