The 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon will once again participate as a qualifying event for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship.
Athletes will compete in the following age categories: 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
Athletes will be ranked based on their single fastest time achieved in qualifying races. Every runner who meets the minimum qualifying standard for their age group will receive an automatic invitation to the Abbott WMM MTT Age Group World Championships 2025, held during the TCS New York City Marathon 2025. To receive the invitation, runners must be registered at AbbottWMM.com.

The 2025 Age Group World Championships will take place on November 2, coinciding with the TCS New York City Marathon.
In the biennial Abbott WMM Global Marathon, held as part of the Global Run Club, 200 spots are available for the fastest verified finishers. Check details at www.abbottwmmglobalrunclub.com.

This year’s marathon is once again a qualifying stage for the 7th Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championship for runners aged 40+.
The Abbott World Marathon Majors Marathon Tours & Travel World Rankings include over 370 qualifying races worldwide, where athletes compete in nine separate age groups to secure a place in the global rankings.
