6,000 people on the starting list!

There are already over 6,000 people on the starting list for the 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon!

In exactly two months, dreams of completing the royal distance will come true. For those who prefer slightly shorter runs, we have the Nice To Fit You Warsaw 10K, which will accompany the Great Run and also promises to be great – the list of registered participants is about to reach two thousand names.

It will be a Celebration of Running! A round jubilee – the centenary of the marathon in Poland, a village for runners and supporters right in the center, fast courses, and loud, colorful cheering points. So, what about you? Are you running or cheering?

Warsaw Marathon will once again take place in the very center – here is the course for this year’s edition of the Great Run!

The Warsaw Marathon will once again take place in the very center. Starting from the Palace of Culture and Science, runners will pass through Aleje Jerozolimskie, going by the iconic de Gaulle Roundabout with its distinctive palm tree. They will then head towards the Poniatowski Bridge and cross the Vistula River. The route continues through Washington Roundabout towards Modrzewiowa. Along the way, runners will approach the PGE Narodowy stadium, then return to the left bank of Warsaw via the Gdański Bridge and head north.

Marathoners will pass near Powązki, then through the dynamically developing Wola district along Obozowa and Księcia Janusza streets, before entering Bemowo and Bielany.

The final kilometers of the route will take runners along Królewska and Mazowiecka streets, lined with historic buildings and modern office buildings. The finish line and Marathon Village at the Palace of Culture and Science provide a beautiful ending to the royal distance.

Perhaps never in its forty-six-year history has the Warsaw Marathon had such a fast and remarkable course. With the start and finish at the Palace of Culture, two bridges, seven districts, and minimal uphill and difficult sections. Are you a running tourist wanting to see the city center, the Vistula River, the National Stadium, the wonderful panorama of the Old Town, and experience the extraordinary cheering from the residents of Bemowo, Chomiczówka, or Bielany? Or maybe you want to compete for the best possible result? Warsaw has a route that any city would envy!” commented Marek Tronina, Race Director and President of the Warsaw Marathon Foundation.
