Once again, we invite you to participate in the New Balance High Five Race which will accompany the Warsaw Half Marathon. Confront the distance of 5 km, run along a beautiful route in the heart of the city and feel the atmosphere of a great event! Registration has begun! The lowest entry fee will be until 31st of January or exhaustion of 500 starting numbers in this pool.
The perfect challenge for beginners and advanced runners
Five kilometers is the perfect challenge for the beginning of a running adventure – if you dream of starting a running adventure, this is the perfect time! Experience great emotions and incredible energy, let your legs and imagination run wild! New Balance High Five Race is not just a race. And if you are an experienced runner, you will spread your wings on the New Balance High Five Race – are you ready for a great race? On the last Sunday of March, you can compete for a personal best at 5km!
Second edition of the New Balance race
The Warsaw Half Marathon and the New Balance race were simultaneously held for the first time in 2022. Last year’s edition of the race gathered more than 2,000 participants and was one of the 10 largest running events in Warsaw and the third largest 5km race! It is sure that the next edition will gather even more runners.
Fast and comfortable route
The New Balance High Five Race will take place on a spectacular and fast route, with a start on Konwiktorska Street near Warsaw’s New Town, and a finish line on the wide Wislostrada River and a running town in the Multimedia Fountain Park. The route will lead along Adama Mickiewicza Street all the way to Wilson Square, followed by a long run down on Zygmunt Krasinski Street that will allow to speed up or to catch a second breath – and finally a long straight line to the finish line will await the runners.
Run for a good cause
Help through running – take part in the #RunningGood campaign. You can sign up for the run as part of the #RunningGood charity campaign. To support one of nine charities, choose the way of charity registration, collect the minimum amount and receive a unique orange starting number. We believe that together we will once again start a wave of goodness – for a good cause, you will feel lighter while running!
5 and 21 common kilometers and a runner’s town
New Balance High Five Race is an accompanying event to the 17th Warsaw Half Marathon. The main race at the half-marathon distance will set off at 11:00 a.m. from Konwiktorska Street, the High Five Race will start at 11:30 a.m. Runners from both distances will finish at Wybrzeze Gdanskie Street – near the Multimedia Fountain Park, where the Runner’s Town, which is the center of the sporting event, is built every year.
Registration for both runs is open from today – choose your distance and sign up to welcome spring on foot.

The American brand- New Balance has been a technical sponsor of both the Half Marathon and the Warsaw Marathon since 2019, as well as the largest mass running events in the world – in New York, London, Rotterdam or Valencia. The successful four-year cooperation has turned into even stronger cooperation, resulting in the High Five Race being held under the New Balance banner.

Spring will start on 26th of March in 2023 in Warsaw! This Saturday signing up for the 17th Half Marathon will begin!
Thousands of runners will run through the streets of the capital city on the last Sunday of March. The 17th Edition of the Warsaw Half Marathon will take place on 26th of March in 2023. Signing up for the run, which you can’t miss, will start from 12th of November!
Debut, new personal best, or return to form?
For years, the Warsaw Half Marathon has been the event unofficially inaugurating the running season in Poland. Why? The March spring run is the best chance to get back in shape after a winter or a post-pandemic extended period of detraining. Looking for a challenge? A half-marathon is an ambitious, and achievable athletic goal, and registration for the event will mobilize you to train even after the longest break.

Help by doing what you love! You can sign up to participate in the marathon as a part of the #RunningGood charity campaign and support one of eight charities. After collecting the minimum amount in the virtual savings bank, you will receive a unique orange starting number. We believe that together we will once again start a wave of goodness- for a good cause, you will feel lighter while running!
First come, first served… and more motivated!
Signing up for the run in the first part of registration is a double benefit. For those who sign up in the first part of registration, the entry fee will be 150zł (PLN) and the starting number is an excellent motivation for training and encouragement to work out after the winter. Don’t leave your dreams for later- make them come true now.

44th Warsaw Marathon took place on September 25. It was a special day – watch the video summary!
Winners of the 44th Warsaw Marathon
Almost nine thousands runners participated in the 2022 edition of Warsaw Marathon. Joseph Munywoki who represented Kenia, turned out to be the fastest with a time of 02:10:07.
As for women, Demissie Ayantu Abera from Ethiopia won the first place – it’s women’s Warsaw Marathon record. Iwona Bernardelli was the first Pole to finish the Marathon and overall she took the second place (02:32:25).

How to pick up a race-kit?
The race Office: Palace of Culture and Science (Plac Defilad 1)
• September 23, 2022 (Friday) – 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• September 24, 2022 (Saturday) – 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Please remember – do not come to Race Office at the very begginign of it’s opening hours, if you dont need to. We work all day – you will surely manage to pick up the package. Try to avoid standing in the lines and crowd.
IMPORTANT:
no race-kit pick-up on the race day
If you are collecting your race packet in person, you need your ID with a photo.
If you want someone else to pick up your race kit, they should bring a copy of your entry card (Karta Startowa) signed by you. To retrieve it you must log in to your Warsaw Marathon account and find it under “Your Runs” (“Twoje Biegi”). The signed card along with a copy of your ID (with photo) should be shown at the pick-up of your race-kit if you are not showing in person.
Charity runners! When you visit the Expo, be sure to visit the booth of the organization for which you are running as part of the #RunningGood campaign. Representatives of all organizations will be waiting for you throughout the operation of the Race Office.
