Race kits for 37th PZU Warsaw Marathon, which contain race bibs and time measurement chips, can be collected in the Race Office. The Race Office will be located at the National Stadium, in Gallery (al. Ks. Poniatowskiego 1) and it will be open only on 25th and 26th September 2015.

25th September (Friday), 12 a.m. – 8 p.m.
26th September  (Saturday), 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The Race Office will be closed on the day of the race!

Remember! Your race kit can be collected by other person provided he/she has your personal race card (signed) and copy of your ID. Your race card will be available to print out from your personal profile on registration site about 2 weeks before the run.

We present the information folder for runners – you will find there information on how to get to the starting line, when to collect a race bib, the organization of the marathon village and details of the race.

RACE GUIDE

Medals are not just earned on race day. They are earned on early mornings, humid afternoons, and holidays when you’d rather sleep than run. We present to you the medals of the 36th PZU Warsaw Marathon, 5K race and Marathon Relay.

As always, a group of pacemakers will help runners of 37th PZU Warsaw Marathon to keep correct pace while running. This year pacemakers will be tasked to complete the course in following times:3:00:00, 3:05:00, 3:10:00, 3:15:00, 3:20:00, 3:25:00, 3:35:00, 3:45:00, 3:50:00, 3:55:00, 4:00:00, 4:10:00, 4:15:00, 4:20:00, 4:30:00, 4:40:00, 4:50:00,5:00:00.

Thanks to the cooperation with the National Museum, the Palace of Culture and Science, Royal Castle, 3D Aquarium and Virtual exhibition of Pompeii at the PGE National Stadium, we can offer you a package of discounts, so that you can visit all the places on special conditions.

You can use the discounts if you are a participant of 37th PZU Warsaw Marathon or High Five Race of Marathon Relay.

You just have to present and leave the cashier a special coupon that can be found in the info booklet. Details:

Warsaw cannot wait for your arrival!

On September 27th 2015, the finishers of Warsaw Mararthon will be able to cross the finish line at the National Stadium for the last time. Next year, finish line will return to the streets of the city.

A large part of Polish runners has already crossed finish line at the National Stadium, where the finish line of Wasaw Marathon was located for the first time in 2012.  This was the first running event in our country which used the stadium in this way. This year, the 37th edition of the race, however, will be the last one ending at this arena. Edition number 38, which is scheduled for September 25th  2016, will end outside the stadium. All those who dream of becoming a hero of the National Stadium, have their last chance in a couple of weeks.

“Finish at the stadium is a great experience and this fact is indisputable. Yet we made decision that this year’s marathon will be the last one finishing at the National Stadium” – says Marek Tronina, President of Warsaw Marathon Foundation. – There are several reasons. First of all – it is getting more difficult to reconcile the magnitude of the event with the limitations of the arena. To put it simply – we cannot fit in it anymore and it is getting hard to combine there all the events of the weekend of Warsaw Marathon. Secondly – because of large number of events taking place at the Stadium it is difficult to reconcile the interests of the Warsaw Marathon with the interests of other users of the arena, which unfortunately could reflect in the quality of the event. That is why this year we want to give runners last opportunity to finish at the National Stadium. Next year finish line will be located in a  different location: surely spectacular and worthy of our event

This year PZU, the title sponsor of Warsaw Marathon, has a special surprise. Before the marathon, everyone one can order a unique wristband with their own motto. You can order your free wristband till the 13th of September 2015. Your wristband will be waiting for you in your race bib, ready to pick it up.
