Look at the medal for the kids and teens
Here’s the medal of the Nationale-Nederlanden Mini Marathon – Little Big Race, taking place on Saturday, September 23.
The kids and teens’ race is held at the same place where adult athletes set off the next day. Emilii Plater street – the heart of Warsaw – will see the youngest runners for the first time. What a fantastic opportunity to feel special and have a great time with peers!
The Mini Marathon comes in quite strict age categories – depending on birth dates, young participants will run different distances. The youngest age category – children up to three years old – can race with a guardian. Everyone gets a beautiful medal at the finish line, and special trophies will be awarded to the best in each category. The street will be closed to car traffic, and our future stars will be able to enjoy a unique marathon setting.
Lots of joy and fun plus some “serious” vibes – time measurement, judges, fans and the award of prizes… Will the Nationale-Nederlanden Mini Marathon be the beginning of your running passion?
At the Runners’ Town – attractions throughout the weekend
Racing is not everything, though. Apart from taking part in Saturday and Sunday runs, we invite whole families and fans to visit the Runners’ Town. On September 23 and 24, a Marathon Fan Zone will be created near the Palace of Culture – a mini-town with attractions for children and all fans. The special fun area will stretch between Marszałkowska and Emilii Plater streets.
In the town you will be able to:
– visit the attractions for children with animators, refreshments and chill zone,
– take part in games and activities with prizes,
– visit the our partners’ special zones, featuring specialist consultations, examinations for runners and expert talks.
