1. Running registration

Team registration can be made on REGISTRATION PAGE.

The entry fee for the Bridgestone Marathon Relay is 300zł (PLN) per team.

Registration for the relay will close on September 19th and registration will no longer be available.

The captain decides about the order of athletes in each shift in the registration form. This data can be edited online until September 19th, 2022, or personally at the Event Office during picking up the starter package. It is not possible to change the order after collecting the starter package.

You can add a New Balance technical T-shirt or a souvenir cotton T-shirt (the number of T-shirts is limited) and engraving of your result on the medal.

2. Starter package collection

All participating relay teams must be verified at the Event Office located in the Palace of Culture and Science (Plac Defilad 1, the entrance is from Marszałkowska Street). Verification is performed by the relay captain (a person who registered the relay) or a person authorized in writing by the captain. For verification, a start card (downloadable on REGISTRATION PAGE approximately 2 weeks before the run) signed by all team members must be presented.

At the Event Office, captains will receive starter packages for the whole team, including start numbers, timing chips, safety pins and souvenir T-shirts (according to the chosen starter package option).

Opening hours of the Event Office:

• September 23, 2022 (Friday) – 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• September 24, 2022 (Saturday) – 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

NOTE: On the day of the event, the Event Office will not be open.

Charity runners! When you visit the Expo, be sure to visit the booth of the organization for which you are running for as part of the #RunningGood campaign. Representatives of all organizations will be waiting for you throughout the operation of the Event Office!

3. Getting to the start

The number of parking spaces in the area of the start is very limited. We recommend arriving by public transportation, e.g., to Dworzec Gdański subway station. Remember that on the day of the race you can travel by public transport in ticket zone I free of charge, based on your start number.

Before arriving at the start, check temporary changes in traffic organization in a specially prepared TRAFFIC INFORMATOR.

4. Start organization

Participants in the Bridgestone Marathon Relay will start with the marathon participants at 9:00 a.m. The starting line will be closed approximately 10 minutes after the starter’s shot.

5. Nutrition points

Refreshment points with MAGNESIA mineral water will be placed at intervals of about 2.5 kilometers starting from the 5th kilometer. Additionally, OSHEE isotonic drinks and YELLOW bananas will be located at every other point starting from the 10th kilometer. You can find the details on the route map attached below.

Remember that each nutrition point is about 100m. You do not need to run up to the first table -water is available at both the initial and further tables. You can avoid “jamming” the zone by running up to the further tables.

IMPORTANT: there will be “drop zones” set up behind each nutrition point on the same side of the route where you can drop your cup. We strongly urge you to throw your trash into the marked zones. This will keep things tidy and avoid throwing cups under the feet of runners running behind you and polluting the roadside.

6. Deposits

Participants will receive a bag with a sticker in the starter package, allowing them to deposit their belongings in a specially designated place. To drop off the deposit, you will need to stick a sticker with your start number on the bag. You will need your start number to pick up your deposit in the finish area. The organizer is not responsible for valuable things left in the depository.
